The Glenn Guidone Trio features Glenn Guidone playing tenor and soprano saxophones and flute, Dave Lobenstein, string bass, and Ed Chiarello, drums. The Trio performs jazz standards and jazz compositions from the American songbook. Repertoire also includes compositions influenced by mainstream jazz artists such as Miles Davis and John Coltrane. The music the ensemble creates features jazz tune melodies followed by improvisations in which each member of the ensemble builds and develops his contribution.
