Nassau County Museum of Art is located on Museum Drive in Roslyn Harbor, off of Northern Boulevard (Route 25A) 1/2 mile west of Glen Cove Road.

Directions by Car

  • Click for turn-by-turn directions
  • Via Long Island Expressway or Northern State Parkway
    Exit at Glen Cove Road (#39 on LIE, #31 on Northern). Drive north to the intersection with Route 25A/Northern Boulevard. Turn left (westbound). Continue two blocks to the museum entrance on the right.

Directions by Train

  • Long Island Railroad from Penn Station.
    Take the Oyster Bay line to the Roslyn station or the Port Washington line to the Manhasset station.
    The museum is a short taxi ride from either station.

Directions by Bus

  • Nassau County’s N20 bus stops on Northern Boulevard at the entrance to the Museum.

    Tuesday - Sunday, 11:00 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
  • Museum Store
    Tuesday - Sunday, 11 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Docent-Led Exhibition Tours
    Tuesday - Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
  • Docent-Led Mansion Tours
    Saturdays at 1:00 p.m.
  • Docent-Led Family Tours
    Sundays at 1:00 p.m.
  • Family Art Activities
    Sundays at 1:30 p.m.

Admission Fees

  • Adults $12.00
  • Seniors (62+) $8.00
  • Students $4.00
  • Children (4-12) $4.00
  • Museum Members Free


Closing Dates

During 2017 the Museum will be closed for show change on the following dates:

  • March 6-24 (reopening March 25)
  • July 10-21 (reopening July 22)
  • November 6-17 (reopening November 18)

The museum will be closed to the public for the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • July 4
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day
