Explore the unique and expressive qualities of watercolor painting and the relationship between representation and abstraction. Participants experiment in color mixing, utilizing various techniques and surfaces while learning  brushwork, composition and color mixing. Finding inspiration from nature, the imagination, or reference sources, participants will explore the expressive use of color, line, shape and harmonious design.

Pre-registration is required for this class.

Participants must have materials for the first day of class.

COVID 19 Safety – Covid-19 vaccinations are required by all persons attending in-person art classes at The Manes Center and current mask mandates are followed. Art classes are limited to 6 students per class. Masks must be worn in common spaces of The Manes Center including the lobby and restrooms. Exit doors will be open in the studios for ventilation when weather permits.
