Explore the intersection of history and sustainability in this immersive workshop. Participants will learn the core principles of eco-printing—a method of extracting permanent color from the natural tannins found in fresh and dried plant materials. This process dates back centuries and offers a creative, experimental way to engage with nature.

Guided by the techniques of heat and pressure, you will master the art of natural dyeing to ensure lasting color on fabric. During the session, you will design and create a unique, wearable scarf using local leaves and botanicals. Join us to practice a sustainable art form that honors tradition while advocating for a greener future.

All art making materials are included.

Pre-registration is required by all. Price includes Museum admission.  Click here to become a member.
