  • Spring Session 1 (6 weeks): April 2, 16, 23, 30, May 7, 14 (no class 4/9)
  • Spring Session 2 (5 weeks): May 21, 28, June 4, 11, and 18

Discover the vibrant world of watercolor and learn to create expressive, fluid paintings. This course covers essential fundamentals—including washes, color mixing, and tonal values—while diving into the unique techniques that define the medium, such as wet-on-wet and direct painting. With step-by-step guidance from Jim Minet, you will learn how to maintain the medium’s natural transparency and avoid the common pitfall of “overworking” your art. Enjoy a mix of group demonstrations and personalized instruction designed to help you succeed.
