Learn to draw the human face from life with greater accuracy, depth, and confidence in this hands-on portrait drawing course. A successful portrait begins with more than drawing the eyes, nose, and mouth—it begins with understanding the structure beneath the surface. Working from a live model, participants will learn how to observe and measure facial proportions accurately, study the basic anatomy of the head and face, and understand how the skull, muscles, and facial features work together to create individual character and expression.
Whether you are a beginner, or a seasoned artist looking to sharpen your skills, this class will give you the tools to capture the unique character and expression of the human face.
Model fee included.
