Join us for three days of family art making inspired by the art on view in the museum’s exhibition Real, Surreal, and Photoreal. A different project will be offered each day. Create with us for one, two, or all three days.

  • Tuesday, February 17 – Surreal Sculptures: Get inspired by the inventive art of Man Ray! Use fabric and wire to design your own sculpture that twists reality!

  • Wednesday, February 18 – Imagination Machines: Get inspired by the bold comic book style of Roy Lichtenstein! Use paper, cardboard, and drawing materials to build your own storytelling machine: a scrolling pop art creation that brings your ideas to life!

  • Friday, February 19 Artful Books: Inspired by Jean Lowe’s playful sculptures, design and decorate your own witty, colorful “book” that looks ready to leap off the shelf!

While here, see our current exhibit, walk our nature trails and Sculpture Garden, and visit the Millstone Reference Library in the Manes Center.

Exhibition hours: 11 am- 4:45 pm
