Join David Leopold as he takes you back to the start of the Hirschfeld Century, an 82-year era in which Al Hirschfeld both recorded and defined so much of popular culture, especially through his drawings of productions on Broadway and in Hollywood. In this illustrated talk, Leopold will reveal how Hirschfeld’s career began and the start of his legendary line. You will see works that you have never seen before, as well as old favorites that only Hirschfeld could have created.
