Paint bold, crisp, and vibrant acrylic paintings with a combination of painting tools, as the palette knife is introduced for more than mixing colors on your palette. Explore all the elements of painting through a series of exercises allowing  you to work more loosely while focusing on important elements such as shapes and color. Learn to create a variety of textures from smooth and thin to thick and painterly as you layer paint across the canvas or surface using not only your brushes, but the palette knife as well. Through demonstrations and sharing, practice new techniques that will result in creating a final paintings with artist and instructor Jim Minet.

Pre-registration is required for this Zoom facilitated class.

Participants must have materials for the first day of class.
