Nature Walk & Outdoor Meditation

Meet at the Manes Art Education Center

Join us for an interactive seasonal stroll during which we will broaden our knowledge and strengthen our power of observation as we travel across the Museum’s grounds. Afterwards, check out our Family Saturay program and create a Mother’s Day art project. 

Please dress in comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate attire.

Hildur Palsdottir is a certified meditation instructor, Reiki Master Teacher, Interfaith Minister, and the co-founder of Sol Center, a nature-based healing center in Port Washington. She works as an educator with the Cornell Cooperative Extension, Nassau, and guides after-school nature appreciation classes at the Sands Point Preserve. Hildur practices meditation with the Natural Dharma Fellowship (NDF) and coordinates their EcoDharma program. She is a co-founder of ReWild Long Island, a steering committee member of Transition Town Port Washington, President of the Board of Trustees at the Science Museum of Long Island, and sits on the Center for Earth Ethics advisory board.
