Join us for a magical Story Circle with one of the creators of The Boy and the Boy King — the International Book Award Finalist for Children’s Literature, co-created by George H. Lewis and A.D. Lubow.

Gather in the gallery, featuring our current family exhibition, May We All Grow Up to Be Children, and listen as the author shares the inspiration behind the story — where a boy from New York City travels through time to ancient Egypt to meet the young King Tutankhamun. Their adventure reminds us that with friendship and imagination, we all have the power to create worlds of wonder and possibility.

Explore the exhibition, with 26 enchanting works of art by George H. Lewis, bringing the beloved story to life. Together, we’ll journey through a tale that celebrates friendship, imagination, and the boundless creativity of childhood.
