Explore the unique and expressive qualities of watercolor painting and the relationship between representation and abstraction. Participants experiment in color mixing, utilizing various techniques and surfaces while learning  brushwork, application, composition and color mixing. Finding inspiration from live botanicals, nature, the imagination, or reference sources, participants will explore the use of color, line, shape and harmonious design.

Pre-registration is required for this class.

COVID 19 Safety – Covid-19 vaccinations are required by all persons attending in-person art classes at The Manes Center. Masks are not required. Art classes are limited to 8 students per class. Exit doors will be open in the studios for ventilation when weather permits.
