Treasures from the Attic

An Appraisal Event

Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 2 – 5 pm

Pre-registration is required.

Bring your treasures to the museum, and several of the world’s greatest art and antiques experts will identify them for you.

If you have wondered about an item that you own, discover its meaning and value on NCMA’s first appraisal event. Our esteemed appraisers will give a verbal estimate of fair market value.

Proceeds benefit the museum. Tickets also  include admission to the two exhibitions on view now: Seeing Red: Renoir to Warhol and Louis Comfort Tiffany: The Beauty of Nature.

What are Your Treasures?

Experts will appraise items in the following areas:

  • Jewelry (Modern, Contemporary, Vintage)
  • Antique Jewelry
  • Antiques & Decorative Arts (American and European, including ceramics, glassware, small furniture, etc.)
  • Prints & Photographs
  • Paintings & Sculpture (Old Masters through 19th Century)
  • Impressionist, Modern, and Contemporary Art
  • Antique and Modern World Silver and Gold
  • Asian Antiques
  • Watches and Clocks (American and European)
  • Objects of Vertu (small objects, including snuff boxes, perfume bottles, fans, enamels, etc.)
  • Not sure? Our experts will help!

This event is generously sponsored by European Decorative Arts Company and NCMA’s Corporate Committee.
